A Night At The Hub

This weekend, Ryan, Dan, and I headed down to Mokena, IL to see our friend Matt(aka the Cracajac) rap at The Hub Cafe and Skate. It was put on by a ministry and there were several secular and Christian indie bands performing. Arden, Marty, and Ariel(also his backup vocals) were there to act out one of his songs, "Show Me". It's about two suicidal teens asking God to show Himself to them. They all did an amazing job. P.S. Thanks, Ariel, for the pictures. :o)

The Cracajac.

Ariel sings backup.

Here's Arden and Marty acting out the song "Show Me".

Marty plays an angry suicidal teen.

Arden plays a confused and pregnant girl ready to down a bottle of pills.

Freestyling with Deposition.

The view's pretty good from up here.

Arden's about to catch a fly.

We still wouldn't look like twins even if I did cut off all my hair.

These bands are pretty good.

Marty knows how to strike the 'cool' pose.

Say cheese.

"Sisters...sisters!"

Matt must be a pretty funny guy-Marty looks very entertained.

Thanks to you journalistic flair, now I feel like I was really there, instead of at home practicing house-wifely duties and being the pick-up-the-little-brothers-girl. Maybe we could photoshop me into a couple of the pictures? I think I need to go in the picture that is 12 down from the top, between the two people so that I'm in the middle. Muahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!

Don't forget to call into the farm, I already did. And I got to work on my shawl today, because I stayed home from work today. I'm sick *cough cough sniff*.

Oh, and by the way, what were you doing wearing MY shirt to the HUB?

love Lizzie

Awesome pictures - and nicely described - makes me feel much better since I didn't get to go.

Lizzie is very bad. When she thinks of it at night, she must go to sleep at once...hm.

And I did call the farm. I need to sew my red flannel petticoat sometime before then. Brrrrr. It's wicked cold.

Yes, make sure you sew your red flannel petticoat. You don't want to freeze your tookers off out there!
